Scholarship for KU Students, The Himalayan Times, July

WebSearch Professional Pvt. Ltd., has recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the Kathmandu University to provide scholarships to two students for completing Bachelor in Computer Engineering.

Talking to this daily, the company’s chief executive officer Bina Shrestha said they would finance 60 per cent of the tuition fee for two candidates while the 40 per cent can be earned by delivering projects for WebSearch.

The students shall also receive a mentor from the company, who shall also receive a mentor from the company, who shall guide and support the students.” she said, adding that the scholars would be employed by the WebSearch right.

Managing director of WPPL Bjorn Soderberg said the scholarship is targeted for talented youngsters who cannot join a university because of financial disadvantage.
